As hurricane season begins, now is the time for business aircraft operators to ensure that they have a plan to deal with these natural disasters, keeping personnel safety in mind. “We take those products that the National Hurricane Center produces, and we use those to craft together briefings and messages that directly speak to the impact from that event so we know and we understand what the thresholds and limitations are as a result of that,” said David Beiger, who manages the national aviation meteorologists at the FAA’s ATC System Command Center in Warrenton, VA.
